my facebook and blog friend from australia, toni, who i have never met before, sent me a surprise in the mail. she found my address in the side column.
i opened the box, and i found this:
a friendship kit. it is full of little goodies.
the card says:
a candle to light your way in the dark
an eraser to rub out your mistakes
a marble for when you feel like you're losing yours
a band-aid to heal your hurts
a dollar so you are never broke
a rubber-band to help you keep it all together
some bling to put a sparkle in your day
a tissue to dry your tears
a crown to remind you, you are a daughter of a king

she mailed it to me shortly after i blogged about the death of my friend henk.
