darn! in south africa we have this lovely new invention called loadshedding. when there is not enough power, some areas simply get switched off for about 2,5 to 4 hours. then you get a turn again, and another area gets switched off. wonderful!
in the last week we have had lots and lots of power outages, at my house we had no power monday, tuesday and wednesday morning, and in the shop we were off thursday evening and this morning, both times in the middle of a class. now i can still run a shop without power in a way, but spare a thought for the restaurants and food places, hairdressers, and many other businesses. unfortunately i cannot use my computer during these times, and when the power is on, my internet service provider seems to do some load shedding of their own, as it is almost impossible to work online. and, of course, after last week's constant rain, and this week's powerlessness, the washing and ironing is getting way behind...
the point of this whole tirade, is to explain why i'm such a bad blogger this week. when the power is on, i have so much work to catch up with, that blogging gets left behind.
